RoadMentor uses an advanced SONY SOC chip that offers ultra high sensitivity (-152dBm) and an extremely fast "hot start" of around 2 seconds.
The Navtec mapping, which is highly regarded and used in systems costing hundreds of pounds more, has been extensively tested in and around the UK to ensure that accurate and reliable navigation is provided.
Mapping data supplied with the system covers :- England, Scotland, Northern and Southern Ireland, The Isle of Man, Wales and The Channel Islands.
